Subject: FINAL QUESTION - Fwd: questions about Schiphol Airport work - please answer as soon as possible
To: info@eurojob.nl
Cc: info@euwork.hu
Good aftnernoon,
two days ago I’ve sent a letter to You (see below) with some general
questions about your Schiphol Airport work. Yesterday we (Eurojob and
I) had a phone call about these questions, and I’ve got your promise
answering within about 30 minutes. Unfortunately I didn’t get the
answers, but today I got a phone call from the Hungarian employment
agency “EU Work”. They disapproved my letter had sent to You, and
promised me to answer my questions on their own.
Finally some minutes ago “EU Work” called me again, and told they
didn’t get me the chance to go to this airport work at Schiphol,
I don’t feel that I made any mistakes in this case, just wanted to get
direct answers from the client. Anyway, if you don’t agree, please let
me know.
In the end I have another question: is there any chance to get this
airport job - because I would really like it - directly from the
client, because, as I wrote, “EU Work” refused me because of my
questions. (As I mentioned earlier, there was a pre-contract agreement
between Eurojob and me, which was waiting for my sign.)
Best regards,
Tibor Kalmar

Subject: questions about Schiphol Airport work - please answer as soon
as possible
To: info@eurojob.nl
Good morning,
I’m Tibor Kalmar from Budapest, Hungary. I’d like to ask some
questions about your Schiphol Airport work.
One or two months ago I’ve decided to work abroad, especially in the
Netherlands. After I looked for the possibilities, I found a job
through a Hungarian employment agency, named “EU Work”. They offered a
job at Schiphol as an airport worker (loading and unloading of
luggage). I applied for the job, then “EU Work” kept an interview, and
sum up the important informations about the work. But there are some
unclarified questions. “EU Work”, the Hungarian agency gave me a list
about the important informations, and some days later – through “EU
Work” – I got your pre-contact agreement.
I’ve attached my pre-contact agreement to this e-mail.
So, here are my questions. Please reply as soon as possible, because I
have to sign the contract on Thursday. Thank you for your kind help.
1. Do you have the information, that while it is illegal in the
European Union, the Hungarian employment agency “EU Work” asks 90.000
HUF (approx. 330 EUR) as an agency fee?
2. “EU Work” alleges: while “30-40 hours a week or different hours if
required by client” is written in the contract, according to the
employer employees have the possibility to work 8 hours a day, five
days a week. Is it true or false? “EU Work” also alleges, that the
employer pays 50% and 100% bonuses for nightshift or working at the
weekend. This way I can earn a minimum of 1400 EUR/months as a gross
salary. Is it true or not?
3. This is the most important question… “EU Work” alleges that
employees earn 8,07 EUR Gross/hrs. The employer insures the
accommodation for 50 EUR/week, and after taxes and accommodation
(+housing, electricity, etc.) are paid, the NET salary is 5,24 EUR. I
mean I don’t have to pay for the accommodation when I get my NET
salary. On the other hand your pre-contract agreement gives different
informations about it in the paragraph 4 and 10. So, to clarify it:
I’m not sure if I have to pay for the accommodation from my NET
salary.
4. The pre-contract agreement contains a paragraph (the 9th) about a
91,25 EUR medical insurance. Do I have to pay it from my NET salary or
the employer pays it from the Gross salary?
5. According to the 12th paragraph the employer pays the oneway
airline or bus ticket to the Netherlands. Is it pre-paid? If not,
which way do they pay for it?
6. Is it possible to send me some photos from the accommodation? What
kind of equipments are included?
Thank you in advance for your kind help.
Best regards, and greetings from Budapest,
Tibor Kalmar
